2025 Honoree Announced

Hillsboro Health is thrilled to announce the 2025 DAISY Award Honoree!  Congratulations to Rebecca "Becky" Stare, BSN RN, CMSRN! Becky has been recognized for the extraordinary nursing skill and compassionate care she provides demonstrated through her dedication, empathy and unwavering commitment to her patients and the team. The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors the extraordinary skill and compassionate care nurses provide every day. 

Becky joined the Hillsboro Health team in May of 2025. She has been working diligently to coordinate the swing bed program for the hospital. In this role she balances provider outreach with providing excellent patient care. Becky has over fifteen years as a nurse with experience in critical care, medical-surgical, perioperative, and case management. Prior to becoming a registered nurse, she worked for 18 years in marketing and public relations. In her free time Becky enjoys volunteering at Shadow Home, a women and children’s shelter in Taylorville, the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight and the Central Illinois Nurse Honor Guard. We are proud to celebrate her outstanding contributions to nursing and the positive impact she has had on Hillsboro Health.
